Chapter 11 to 17 of the book evaluate the historical evolution of Indian legal systems such as ancient Indian law, English Law in India, administration of justice in British India, Charter of 1861 and subsequent charters, the establishment of courts, drafting of Indian constitution, and ancient Indian law in the modern legal framework. Chapter 18 to 21 teaches about the civil and criminal court and process and chapter 22-25 cover family justice system such as marriage and divorce, children, domestic violence, etc.
