## Overview

Class 9 Maths begins with the first chapter of Number Systems which contains rational numbers, irrational numbers, and more. Further, Polynomials will discuss polynomials and degrees of polynomials. It also teaches the theorems relating to them. Next, there is Coordinate Geometry which will cover Distance formula, Section formula and all about the area of triangles and quadrilaterals. Linear Equations in Two Variables teaches how to solve two variables in a single equation. Next, Introduction to Euclid’s Geometry as the name suggests is all about Euclid’s postulates, axioms, conjectures and more. Lines and Angles will teach students about geometry, lines and the various types of angles. After that, we have Triangles which will make you learn about the properties of triangles, Pythagoras theorem, basic proportionality theorem and others. The chapter of Quadrilaterals will discuss everything about them from their properties to their theorems. Area of Parallelograms and Triangles is about calculating the area of these two shapes. Similarly, Circles will discuss arc, tangents, cyclic quadrilaterals and more. Constructions is a chapter teaching how to construct triangles, segments, tangents and more. Heron’s Formula teaches to measure the surface area of a triangle while Surface Area and Volumes are about the same of different shapes like cubes, cylinders and more. Finally, Statistics and Probability will teach about mean, median, mode and more.
