Maths

For eg:- Add $107.6$ and $100.75$

Numbers on the right of decimal point are $6$ and $75$

So, we make the number of digits equal by adding $0$ after the number $107.6$.

So, we get $107.60$ and $100.75$

Now, add these numbers without taking decimal point

i.e. $10760+10075=20835$

Since, the decimal point is after $2$ digits from right

So, we have $107.60+100.75=208.35$

For eg:- Subtract $100.6$ from $100.75$

Numbers on the right of decimal point are $6$ and $75$

So, we make the number of digits equal by adding $0$ after the number $107.6$.

So, we get $107.60$ and $100.75$

Now, subtract these numbers without taking decimal point

i.e. $10075−10060=15$

Since, the decimal point is after $2$ digits from right

So, we have $100.75−100.60=0.15$
