Let, IA is current through ammeter, I4 is current through 4 ohm resistor and I12 is current through 12 ohm resistor. I4=4+0.66=1.30A I12=12+0.66=0.47A Hence, IA=I4−I12 IA=1.30−0.47=0.83A
