Experimental Analysis of Photoelectric Effect-II

The solar panel around us is a vital source to convert solar energy into electrical energy.

The solar energy is the energy of sun and electrical energy is the electricity we use.

The working principle to convert solar energy into electric energy from solar panel is the photoelectric effect.

In photoelectric effect the solar panel absorbs sunlight and convert it into electric energy.

Now let's know more about the photoelectric principle.

When light hits a metal surface it emits electron, we say it photoelectric effect.

The large frequency of light have sufficient energy to release electrons from metal surface.

In VIBGYOR there is various kind of frequencies of light.

Suppose the frequency of light falling on metal surface is of blue colour.

Then the metal surface releases the electron of blue, violet,indigo and so on but not of frequencies lower then blue colour.

Now suppose the frequency of light falling on the metal surface is of green colour.

Then the metal surface release the electron of green, bule, violet, indigo and so on but not of frequencies lower than green colour.

And the of the released electron is same for all electron ,irrespective to the photon of light any perticular electron absorbed.

The emmision of electron is depends upon only frequency of light, but not the intensity of light.

Photoelectric effect doesn’t occur for frequency less then threshold frequency.

Threshold frequency is the minimum frequency to come out of an electron from the metal surface.

The electron comes out to the metal surface immediately, their is no time lag.
