Mr Shankar is a chef in a restaurant.

Mr Shankar uses the above list of items to cook a meal for one person in a day.

Mr Shankar wanted to find quantity of rice required to cook a meal for 4 people.

From the chart the quantity of rice per person is 100 grams

So, the quantity of rice needed for 4 people is 4 times 100, which is equal to 400 grams.

Mr Shankar wanted to find the total weight of salt and oil required to cook for 4 people for 10 days continuously?

From the chart the quantity of salt per person is 5 grams

Therefore, the quantity of salt for 4 persons is as shown,

Similarly, from the chart the quantity of oil per person is 50 grams,

So, the quantity of oil for 4 persons is 200 grams,

Total weight of salt and oil needed to cook for 4 people is 220 g for one day.

Total weight of salt and oil needed to cook for 4 people for 10 days is 2200 gms ,

A bag has salt packets each of 500 grams. The weight of the bag is 15 kgs. Find the number of salt packets in the bag.

We know that 1 kilogram equals to 1000 grams,

Number of Salt bags can be found by above Division,

Example

If a five rupee coin weighs 9 grams. Then, what would be the weight of 2200 coins?

Given that one five rupee coin weighs 9 grams.

Then, the weight of 2,200 coins is 19800 grams,
