Verified by Toppr

Given:-
Shopkeeper buys 5 fans for: Rs 4050
Transportation cost : Rs 50
Cost price =Rs 4050+Rs 60
=Rs 4100
Gain (%)=15%
Formula:- gain (%)=100×[selling price(S.P)cost price(S.P)]cost price
15=100×[S.P4100]4100
S.P=41×15+4100
S.P=615+4100
S.P=Rs 4715
Ans. Selling price of 5 fans =Rs 4715
Thus selling price of 1 fan =Rs 47155=Rs 943/
