$= \frac{25}{11} + \frac{40}{9}$
$= \frac{25 \times 9 + 40 \times 11}{11 \times 9}$
$= \frac{225 + 440}{99}$
$= \frac{665}{99}$
$= 6 \frac{71}{99}$
