Question

One of the angles of a triangle is 40o. The difference of other two angles is 20o. Find the angles.

Solution
Verified by Toppr

Let the angles be A,B,C
One of the angle be,A=40
Difference between other two is 20
BC=20(i)
A+B+C=180 (Sum of all angles of a =180)
40+B+C=180B+C=140(ii)
Solving (i) and (ii)
2B=160B=80,C=60
