State two similarities between a human eye and a camera
They both have a lens focusing an inverted image into the back of a dark enclosure.
A camera generally has a narrow field of view and the eye has a narrow field of view in high focus. However the eye also has a wide field of view at low definition that can detect movement and attract attention and the eye can then jump to the area of interest for closer examination.
Both a camera and the eye have an iris to control the amount of light that comes in, but the sensitivity of the retina also adjusts giving the eye visibility over a greater range of lighting conditions (although this can take several minutes). This is similar but superior to changing the film speed in a camera.
