  1. 434 J
  2. 334 J
  3. 234 J
  4. 134 J

A
434 J
B
334 J
C
234 J
D
134 J
Solution
Verified by Toppr

Amount of work done is assembling the charges is equal to the net potential energy
So, P.E.=U12+U13+U23
=Kq1q2r12+Kq1q3r13+Kq2q3r23
=K×1010r[4×2+4×3+3×2]
=9×109×1010101(8+12+6)
=9×26=234J
Hence,
option (C) is correct answer.
