It was a beautiful, peaceful and joyful night; as all my school friends had gathered after a very long time. Songs were being played, jokes were being cracked and a lot more special things were present in the wonderful flavors of that night.
We were heading towards Neuplex located near the Creek Vista Apartments in DHA. My friend, Fakhir was driving the car however, due to some misunderstanding he headed towards the wrong direction and entered into a deserted street.
There was not a soul in sight and darkness was everywhere as there were no street lights. Suddenly, some weird sounds started that were perceived by all of us as some noises which were coming because of the vacuum leak in the car.
Somehow we managed to escape out from the street by finding the way towards the main road and then my friend, Aamir took out his Macintosh and started to search out the way towards Neuplex. Mean while, he also informed Fakhir about the stupidity that he had done by entering into a dead-end street.
However, the darkness of that street and the weird noises along with the fear of getting mugged scared the hell out of us. Nevertheless, the real frightening stuff was yet to come as the weird noises faded. Fakhir stopped the car and checked everything to trace the cause behind those weird noises but nothing was found.
This indicated that there was something weird present in that deserted street; which was the sole cause of those eerie noises. After realizing this, I and my friends thanked the, Almighty for saving us from any possible danger that was present while we were driving through that street.
A friend of mine once narrated a real life story that was related to his encounter with a ghost or something extremely frightening and I still remember that I had laughed on him as I was thinking that it was his misconception. Nonetheless, after that I started to believe in his story and can say that “it was exactly as he had said it would be”.
