Find answers to the following. Write and indicate how you solve
Is $$\dfrac {1}{15}$$ equal to $$\dfrac {4}{30}$$?
$$\dfrac{ 1}{15}$$ and $$\dfrac{4}{30}$$
Now, $$\dfrac{1}{15} = \dfrac{1\times2}{15\times2}$$ $$= \dfrac{2}{30}$$
Since $$\dfrac{2}{30} ≠ \dfrac{4}{30}$$
So, $$\dfrac{1}{15} ≠ \dfrac{4}{30}$$
