Explain two neutralisation reactions related to daily life situation.
$$\textbf{Concept:}$$ neutralization reaction. a chemical reaction in which an acid and a base interact with the formation of a salt
$$\bullet$$ The neutralisation reactions related to daily life situations are:
a) Digestive disorders: When too much 'hydrochloric acid' is produced by stomach, which is called 'hyperacidity', it causes digestive disorders. The acid can be treated by intake of basic substances such as 'milk of magnesia' or 'baking soda'.
b) Ant-bite: Sting of an ant releases 'methanoic acid' or 'formic acid' in the body. These acids cause burning sensation and irritation. This issue is fixed by rubbing moist baking soda because moist baking soda is basic in nature.
