10 cm 40 cen The image of a point source, kept at origin O. forms at point A due to transparent sphere of radius 10 cm as shown in the figure. Here OX is the optical axis of the sphere. Now, the sphere is cut into two equal parts, along a plane perpendicular to the horizontal axis OX and the plane surface of the left half (PRCS) is silvered. The right half (ROSC) is removed.
