We  know that,  increased wind
speed is, indeed, accompanied by a
reduced air pressure. As the wind speed is higher outside the house the air pressure would be lesser outside. In such cases, there is a risk of roof getting blown away, if not constructed properly. That's why its advisable to not to close all the windows of a house with poorly constructed roofs, during a storm.
