Question

The graph for the linear equation 2y5=0 is parallel to x-axis.
If true enter 1 else 0.

Solution
Verified by Toppr

Since, 2y5=0=>y= 52 y=2.5
In the linear equation y=2.5, there is no term for x. This means, that x can take any value.
Points lying on the line y=2.5 can be (0,2.5),(2,2.5) or (5,2.5).
Note that y=2.5 lies in the midway between y=2 and y=3 on the graph shown.
Plotting these points (0,2.5),(2,2.5) or (5,2.5) on the graph paper and joining them, we get the graph for y=2.5, which is parallel to xaxis.
