Let the mo. of passengers on the bus be $x$

Given

$30\%$ of then got down ar station $A$

i.e $\frac{30x}{100}$ people got down at station $A$ and Remaining people on the bus $\frac{70x}{100}$

also given that

$70\%$ of remaining people got down at station $B$

i.e, $\frac{70}{100}\left(\frac{70}{100}x\right)=\frac{49}{100}x$

i.e, $\frac{49}{100}x$

people got down ae station $B$

Remaining people on the bus $x-\frac{30x}{100}-\frac{49x}{100}=\frac{21x}{100}$

Given

Remaining people were $=1050$

$\frac{21x}{100}=1050$

$x=5000$

$\therefore$ there are $5000$ people on the bus.
