Solution
Verified by Toppr

Let whole work be W.

Work done by A in one day =W16

Work is done by B in one day =W12

A worked for 2 days =2×W16

=W8

A and B worked for x days ( let )

W8+x(W16+W12)=W

x×748=78

x=6 days.

Hence, the answer is 6 days.
