Question

A body of mass 0.2 kg falls from a height of 10m to a height of 6m above the ground. Find the loss in potential energy taking place in the body. [g=10ms2].

Solution
Verified by Toppr

Given : m=0.2kg,g=10ms2,h1=10m,h2=6m.
Loss in P.E. =mg(h1h2)
=0.2×10×10(106)
=0.2×10×4=8J
