cost of per mango $=$ $90/12$

Rs $7.5$per mango

he sold at the loss of $8\%$

S.P $=$ $7.5-\left(8/100\right)\times 7.5$

$=$ $7.5-0.6$

$=$ $6.9$

$\text{i)}$ Now the customer will pay Rs $6.9$ per mango.

$\text{ii)}$ Now the cost of $40$ mangoes

$=$ $6.9\times 40=276$

Hence,

the cost of $40$ mangoes is $276$.
