The phenomenon of total internal reflection takes place during reflection at P.
sinθ=1wgμ....(i)
where θ is the angle of incidence at P.
Now, wgμ=aghagμ=1.54/3=1.125
Putting in (i),
sinθ=11.125=89
Therefore, sinθ should be greater than 89.
