A man bought a certain number of oranges; out of which 13 percent were found rotten. He gave 75% of the remaining in charity and still has 522 oranges left. Find how many had he bought?

Let no.of oranges bought=100

then percentage of oranges rotten=13%

then remaining oranges=10013% of 100=87

percentage given to charity out of left oranges=75% of 87=21.75

by unitary method 10021.75 then

if 522 are left then no.of oranges bought=522×10021.75=2400
