Now according to question,

Let total money be $x$

$20\%$ of $x=9000$

$\frac{20}{100}\times x=9000$

$x=9000\times \frac{100}{20}$

$x=45,000$

He had a total Rs. $45,000$

Share of the wife is $25\%$ of $45,000$

$=\frac{25}{100}\times 45,000$

$=11,250$

Share of daughter is $55\%$ of $45,000$

$=\frac{55}{100}\times 45,000$

$=24,750$.
