A motorcyclist travels at $30 k m / h$ and stops for half an hour at the end of every $75 k m$ . How long will it take him to cover $375 k m$ .

Speed $= 30$ km/hr
Distance $= 375$ km
Total stops $= \frac{375}{75} = 5$
Extra time $= 5 \times \frac{1}{2} = \frac{5}{2}$ hr
$T = \frac{375}{30} + \frac{5}{2} = \frac{25}{2} + \frac{5}{2} = \frac{30}{2} = 15$ hr.
