Solution
Verified by Toppr

Given
A person's earning in a day =Rs.100
Money spent on food =Rs.1427=Rs.100/7
Money spent on petrol =Rs.3023=Rs.92/3
The savings of a person is calculated as follows:
Savings =Rs.100{(100/7+92/3)}
=Rs.100{(300+644)/21}
On further calculation, we get
=Rs.100(944/21)
=(2100944)/21
=Rs.1156/21
=Rs.55121
Hence, a person saved Rs. 55121 on that day.
