Deviation by a sphere is $2 (i -)$
Here, deviation $δ = 6 0^{\circ} = 2 (i - r)$
or $i - r = 3 0^{\circ}$
$∴ r = i - 3 0^{\circ} = 6 0^{\circ} - 3 0^{\circ} = 3 0^{\circ}$
$∴ μ = \frac{sin i}{sin r} = \frac{sin 6 0 ^{\circ}}{sin 3 0 ^{\circ}} = 3$ .
