means initial speed u=0 and after getting hit it's final speed v=10m/s.
we know that impulse is equal to change in momentum i.e. Impulse J=m(v−u)
so here J=0.25(10−0)kgm/s or N
hence The impulse imparted to the ball is 2.5Ns
