Then total marks =500
candidate get 60% of full marks =$\frac{60}{100}\times 500=300$
ratio of their marks =$6:7:8:9:10$
$6+7+8+9+10=40$
Marks in first paper=$\frac{6\times 300}{40}=45$
Marks in second paper=$\frac{7\times 300}{40}=52.5$
Marks in third paper=$\frac{8\times 300}{40}=60$
Marks in forth paper=$\frac{9\times 300}{40}=67.5$
Marks in fifth paper=$\frac{10\times 300}{40}=75$
Hence there are 4 paper in which he got more than 50% marks
