As train crosses the pole, the train has to cover its own length.so the entire length of train takes 9 sec to cross the pole, we can use,

distance=velocity×time

Given, v=60km/h=60×10003600m/s

and t=9s
Length of the pole=vt=60×10003600×9=150m
