Question

A wave has a low speed but a high frequency. What can you infer about its wavelength?

Solution
Verified by Toppr

The speed v, frequency f and wavelength λ of a wave are related by the following relation:
v=fλ,
λ=v/f,
as given that speed is low and frequency is high, therefore wavelength will be short by above relation.
