A certain sum of money is divided between A, B and C. Bs share is twice as As and thrice Cs. if As share is Rs. 330, then what is the total sum?
  1. Rs. 1210
  2. Rs. 1310
  3. Rs. 1110
  4. Rs. 1410

A
Rs. 1210
B
Rs. 1310
C
Rs. 1110
D
Rs. 1410
Solution
Verified by Toppr

Let us assume that the certain sum of money is X
if we take A's share as "x" , then B's share will be "2×x"
since it is given that A's share is Rs. 330, then B's share will be 2×330 = Rs.660
since, B's share is thrice of C's share
hence, C's share will be equal to 6603 = Rs. 220
total money = A's share + B's share + C's share = 330 + 660 + 220 = Rs. 1210
Option A is correct.
