Ahmad Shah Abdali invaded India eight times between 1748 and 1757. He raided India in 1748 for the first time. His army was defeated at the Battle of Manupur and he had to return home in failure. The Battle of Manupur was fought between the Mughal Empire and the Durrani Empire in 1748.
