Akash bought vegetables weighing 10kg. Out of this, 3kg 500g is onions, 2kg 75 g is tomatoes and the rest is potatoes. What is the weight of the potatoes?

Total weight =10kg
Weight of onions =3kg500g=3.5kg [ 1kg=1000g]
Weight of tomatoes =2kg75g=2.075kg [To convert gtokg divide by 1000]

Let weight of potato be x
3.5+2.075+x=10 [ sumofall=10kg]
5.575+x=10
x=105.575
x=4.425
x=4kg 425g
Thus, weight of potatoes =4kg 425g
