Question

Apparatus required to prove the laws of reflection:
  1. A mirror with black paper
  2. A ray of light
  3. A plane mirror, a laser light, a pencil, a protactor
  4. A spherical mirror

A
A spherical mirror
B
A mirror with black paper
C
A ray of light
D
A plane mirror, a laser light, a pencil, a protactor
Solution
Verified by Toppr

To prove the laws of reflection, a ray of laser light is allowed to strike the plane mirror and the light is reflected back. With a pencil, mark the path of the light and the mirror's base. With a protractor, measure the angle of incidence and the angle of reflection and it is found that:
Angle of incidence=Angle of reflection
