Solution
Verified by Toppr

Given,
Earnings of Avinash $$=Rs. 12,000$$.

Earnings of Avinash's wife $$=Rs. 15,000$$.

We know that,

Total of income of Avinash and Avinash's wife $$=27,000$$.

Thus,
The ratio of Avinash's income to their total income $$=12000:27000$$

$$= \dfrac{12000} {27000}$$

$$= \dfrac{4} {9}$$

$$=4:9$$
