The phenomenon of sexual reproduction in humans is considered to be a critical topic for discussion. The parents feel awkward in talking with their growing children about the menstrual cycle, sexuality, and reproduction. In humans, this is considered as a private topic and so the parents which are not much educated feel embarrassed to talk about this.
The example of a local plant can be considered as in the rose plant. The male and the female gametes are produced which are fused in fertilization to form the zygote. This is a form of sexual reproduction.
In the case of animals like dogs, the male gamete is transferred to the female tract and then the fertilization takes place. This is also a method of sexual reproduction.
Similarly, in humans the process of sexual reproduction takes place and the females have a reproductive life known as menstrual cycle which is responsible for the production of the female gamete.
