Objects which do not allow light to pass through them are called opaque objects.
Objects which allow the light to pass through them partially are called translucent objects.
Objects which allow the light to pass through them completely without any obstruction are called transparent objects.
Objects that give out or emit light of their own are called luminous objects.
Since cellophane paper allows light to pass through it completely, it is a transparent object. Also, it doesn't emit any light.
