Question

Chemical equilibrium is __________ in nature.
  1. dynamic
  2. fast
  3. static
  4. both B and C

A
dynamic
B
both B and C
C
static
D
fast
Solution
Verified by Toppr

Chemical equilibrium is dynamic in nature. Once the equilibrium state has reached, the reaction doesn't stop. The rate of the forward reaction is equal to the rate of backward reaction. That is why it is called dynamic in nature as the reactions are continuously going on in either direction.
