A change in which one or more new substances are formed is called a
chemical change.
Photosynthesis is a chemical change because, during photosynthesis, water and carbon dioxide combine to form glucose(carbohydrate) and oxygen in presence of chlorophyll and light. New substances like glucose and oxygen are being formed here hence it's a chemical change.
