Question

Construct a quadrilateral ABCD with AB=5cm,BC=3.6cm,ABC=80,DAB=60 and ADC=120.

Solution
Verified by Toppr

We know that sum of four angles of a quadrilateral is 360o.
A+B+C+D=360o.
60o+80o+C+120o=360o
260o+C=360o.
C=100o.
Draw a line segment AB=5cm
Take A as a center and draw an angle of 60o
Take B as a center and draw an angle of 80o
Cut off BC=3.6cm
Take C as a center and draw an angle of 100o, which cuts of A at D.
ABCD is a required quadrilateral.
