Curved surface area =24 cm2

We know that the curved surface area of the sphere
=4πr2

So,
4×227×r2=24

r2=6×722 cm2

Since, if this sphere is divided into two hemispheres, then total surface area of one hemisphere
=3πr2

=3×227×6×722

=3×6

=18 cm2

Hence, this is the answer.
