Cryopreservation is the method of preservation of the cells and tissues for a long time. The process involves cooling of the cells, tissues or organs at very low temperature (−196oC) in liquid nitrogen and storing cells. This helps to preserve the cells and to maintain the cell viability for a very longe period of time.
