Question

Direction of induced EMF can be found from
  1. Lenz law
  2. Laplace law
  3. Fleming law
  4. None of the above

A
Laplace law
B
None of the above
C
Lenz law
D
Fleming law
Solution
Verified by Toppr

Direction of induced EMF can be found from Fleming law.Stretch the forefinger, middle finger and the thumb of the right hand mutually perpendicular to each other. If the force finger points in the direction of the magnetic field, the thumb gives the direction of the motion of the conductor then the middle finger gives the direction of the induced current.
