0.1 M - 0.2 M NaCl is the solution of intermediate ionic strength. The solution can be used to separate the DNA and histone proteins from the chromatin network. 0.6 M NaCl removes H1 and higher concentration like 1 M NaCl helps in the removal of all the histone proteins and DNA. At further higher concentrations, the renaturation of DNA will be difficult and so higher concentrations cannot be used.
Thus, the correct answer is option B.
