These are our regional festivals, so every Indian celebrates them irrespective of region and religion. As a nation we can also see people of different regions and religions coming together and celebrating all festivals including, Holi, Diwali, Eid and Christmas together. There are certain Harvest festivals celebrated which have different names in different regions. However. the purpose of celebrating them is the same. These are the festival of Lohri, Onam and Pongal.
