Brunner's gland is compound tubular submucosal glands found in Duodenum. It produces Cholecystokinin, a digestive hormone along with Secretin when food from the stomach reaches the first part of the small intestine (duodenum). Secretin stimulates the secretion of liver and pancreas for digestion and cholecystokinin stimulates the digestion of fats and protein in the intestine.
