Answer

For the preservation of the genetic material of endangered species, Gene banks are being made. These are biorepositories which store the genetic materials. The methods included are the in vitro storage, freezing cuttings from the plant, or stocking the seeds (e.g. in a seed bank). In animals, this is done by freezing of sperm and eggs in zoological freezers until further need.
So, the correct answer is 'Gene Bank'.
