Question

Every point is located in one of the four quadrants.

Solution
Verified by Toppr

A point plotted on a graph has an x - coordinate (x) and the y - coordinate (y). It's position on the graph depends on the values of x and y. The point can lie in any of the four quadrants or on the x - axis or the y - axis.
If both x and y are zero, then the point lies at the intersection of the axes, and is called the Origin (0,0).
Hence, it is not necessary for a point to lie in any of the four quadrants, as it can lie on the x-axis or the y - axis or it may be the origin.
