Darwinism is a theory of biological evolution developed by the English naturalist Charles Darwin (1809–1882) and others, stating that all species of organisms arise and develop through the natural selection of small. This can be observed in finches in the Galapagos Island which evolved according to there habitat and food habits. This theory has two key features:-
1) diverse groups of animals evolve from one or a few common ancestors.
2) the mechanism by which this evolution takes place is natural selection.
